Popsugar Must Have ~ March, 2013

Hello lovelies! I recently subscribed to Popsugar's Must Have boxes and I'm not entirely sure if I should cancel my subscription or not... Here is the box I received for March:

Popsugar Must Have - March Box
This month, we are sharing one of the hottest trends of the season, a Hollywood fashion savior, a new way to make your lashes pop, and the best way to wash some of your most beloved articles of clothing. We're also featuring a nostalgic Spring treat and making sure your next wine party has some festive flair. Spring is finally here, and we have everything you need to greet the season in style!

The Laundress - Speciality Washes
Freshen up your Spring cleaning with The Laundress. We have been fans of this luxurious speciality fabric detergent brand for a while, so we're excited to feature one of our favorites washes - Demin Wash, Delicate Wash, Wool & Cashmere Shampoo - in each box.

Gentle yet effective, learn the best ways to wash some of your most beloved items and save money on your dry-cleaning bills as well.

Heather Belle - Signature Tassel Necklace
Tassel necklaces are one of the hottest jewelry trends of the season, so we jumped at the opportunity to offer the latest addition to Heather Belle's collection.

This tassel necklace easily transitions from day to night and can be word alone or layered with your other pieces. In the middle, you can find the Heather Belle octagon, signifying the celebrity-favorite brand worn by stars like Charlize Theron and Lucy Hale.

Hollywood Fashion Secrets - Sweater Saver
Preserve the beauty of your favorite sweaters with this Hollywood Fashion Secrets Sweater Saver. It removes pills from sweaters, coats, and blankets without risk of damaging your items.

Throw it in your purse to touch up your look on the go, or make sure your cold-weather clothes are all in order before staring them for the warmer months ahead.

Hollywood Fashion Secrets - Fashion Tape Assortment Pack [This was an extra]
Have a fashion emergency? Hollywood Fashion Secrets tape assortment to the rescue! Secure a falling hem, hold a blouse in place to avoid a potential wardrobe malfunction, and hit your event in style. Try out a sample of its most popular, classic fashion tape assortment. You'll be back on the go in no time.

Buxom - Sculpted Lash Mascara
A girl can never have too many kinds of mascara, so we're excited to share Buxom by Bare Escentuals' latest and greatest, Buxom Sculpted Lash.

The wand has a unique S-shape brush, which is perfect for achieving thick, voluptuous lashes with a shaped curl. The shape also makes it easy to get both your inner and outermost lashes. Achieve fuller, thicker lashes with this mascara, which lasts all day long.

Corkatoo - Corkscrew
Open wine bottles with ease and flair thanks to this colorful Corkatoo Corkscrew. We immediately fell in love with the adorable design, but there's no worry of style over function here. The double-hinge design makes opening wine bottles effortless and reduces cork breakage. The beak takes on the bottle cap-opening duty.

It's a great conversation starter at parties and can brighten up any girls' night - as if you needed another reason to crack open another bottle.

The New Black - Nail Polish
Add a pop of color to your next manicure with these cute sets of The New Black nail polish. We picked an assortment of nail polish duos to include in this month's box. Try them out on their own or experiment with nail art by creating fun designs or a unique French manicure.

Marshmellow Peeps [This was an extra]
It wouldn't be Spring without Peeps! These classic candy chicks are nostalgic, sweet, and always a delight. In case you needed a reason to indulge, they have zero grams of fat. We may be too old for Easter egg hunts, but we'll never outgrow Peeps.

Honestly, I am pretty disappointed. Out of all the products, I'll probably end up using only the mascara. For $35 a month, that's pretty wasteful. I think I might cancel my subscription if I'm still unhappy with my box next month.

Thanks for stopping by!

Swatches: NARS And God Created the Woman Palette, Ashes to Ashes, and Fez eyeshadows

Why hello there! Happy Saturday! I'm a little behind with some posts, but hopefully I'll be able to catch up with them soon.

Anyway, here are the swatches of the NARS eyeshadows from my last haul:
And God Created Woman Eye Kit - it came with a beautiful eyeshadow palette, a primer, and a brush.

Alhambra, Bellisma, Kalahari, Galapagos, Coconut Grove, Night Clubbing

Thoughts: I adore this palette, but would only recommend it if you're into dark eyeshadows. The top three shades are lighter, but not worth the money if you're only going to use half of the palette.

Ashes to Ashes and Fez

These two colors are soooo beautiful together!

Overall: I love NARS eyeshadows, so I have no regrets purchasing these! They're smooth, pigmented,  blend-able and so easy to work with. I highly recommend checking out their eyeshadows.

Thanks for stopping by! =)

Hello All! I'm sorry I haven't responded to some of your comments & messages. I haven't had time to do so due to midterms, but I will try to get them done this weekend!

I received my Glossybox last week and thought it would be best to post about it now before it was super late. Plus, I still have other posts that I still need to catch up on!

Urban Decay - Oz the Great & Powerful Glinda Palette

Hello all! I have a lot of reviews lined up, but I figured I'd do the Glinda palette first since it's limited edition!

Inspired by the Disney film’s theme of good witch vs. bad witch (and the good witch/bad witch dichotomy in all of us), Urban Decay created two collectible palettes loaded with beautiful, never-before-seen shades. Recreate Glinda’s ethereal, spellbinding look with eight all new and exclusive eye shadows in six pans (this set includes two duo-shades that are split in half, with a different color on each side of the pan). Every shade features Urban Decay’s Pigment Infusion System™, the proprietary blend of ingredients that gives each shade its velvety texture, rich color, serious staying power, and blendability.

I was initially planning to get the Theodora palette, but opted for this one instead after a makeup artist had used it on me. I figured I was better off with this palette since I probably have a lot of eyeshadows similar to the Theodora palette.

From left to right: Tornado,  Aura (two eyeshadows), Magic, Illusion, Oz (two eyeshadows), South

Eyeliner: Rockstar; Lip-color: Glinda

Lip-swatch of Glinda.

Overall, I'm very happy with this palette. It's a good value, travel friendly, and great quality! I love everything included in the set! The shadows are super pigmented, soft, blendable, versatile, and long lasting. If you were leaning on buying this palette, I highly recommend you doing so before they're all gone! I am so tempted to get the Theodora palette now...
