Urban Decay - Oz the Great & Powerful Glinda Palette

Hello all! I have a lot of reviews lined up, but I figured I'd do the Glinda palette first since it's limited edition!

Inspired by the Disney film’s theme of good witch vs. bad witch (and the good witch/bad witch dichotomy in all of us), Urban Decay created two collectible palettes loaded with beautiful, never-before-seen shades. Recreate Glinda’s ethereal, spellbinding look with eight all new and exclusive eye shadows in six pans (this set includes two duo-shades that are split in half, with a different color on each side of the pan). Every shade features Urban Decay’s Pigment Infusion System™, the proprietary blend of ingredients that gives each shade its velvety texture, rich color, serious staying power, and blendability.

I was initially planning to get the Theodora palette, but opted for this one instead after a makeup artist had used it on me. I figured I was better off with this palette since I probably have a lot of eyeshadows similar to the Theodora palette.

From left to right: Tornado,  Aura (two eyeshadows), Magic, Illusion, Oz (two eyeshadows), South

Eyeliner: Rockstar; Lip-color: Glinda

Lip-swatch of Glinda.

Overall, I'm very happy with this palette. It's a good value, travel friendly, and great quality! I love everything included in the set! The shadows are super pigmented, soft, blendable, versatile, and long lasting. If you were leaning on buying this palette, I highly recommend you doing so before they're all gone! I am so tempted to get the Theodora palette now...

Thanks for stopping by!

  3. the beige color is pretty, does it work well as a highlight? i prefer matte eyeshadow as a browbone highlighter over a shimmery eyeshadow :3

    1. It's fine as a highlight, but I prefer matte shadows as a browbone highlighter as well! I always end up pulling out my Mac Brule shadow.

  10. The palette is lovely - great colours and packaging. And I really want the lip colour, it's the shade I love the most.
