Sonia Kashuk Monochrome Eye Quads: Textured Taupe & Textured Cocoa

I have a bad habit of strolling by the makeup section whenever I'm at Target. When I saw these Sonia Kashuk Monochrome eyeshadow quads, I was intrigued immediately. I bought the Textured Taupe quad first and liked it so much, I went back to purchase Textured Cocoa. I'm so blown away, I'm tempted to get the other two quads to complete my collection.

I like the sleek matte black packaging. The magnetic closure is strong and secure enough to throw in a makeup bag without worrying that it would open up and be exposed to other products.

Swatches of the quad above: Textured Taupe

Textured Cocoa

Each quad comes in not only a variation of a certain shade, but different textures as well: matte, semi-matte with a hint of shimmer, metallic, and sparkly glitter.

These shadows are super soft, pigmented, and blend like butter! However, if you own a lot of eyeshadows, you probably already own something similar in your collection. I really like the texture of these eyeshadows though.

I was a little iffy about the price ($13.69 each), but these babies have proven to be quite a steal! I absolutely adore these quads and would highly recommend checking them out if you're into these kinds of shades.

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Oh, that is so lovely! The two matte ones look so opaque. So hard to find quality matte eyeshadows!

  2. Textured Cocoa looks GORGEOUS! I could easily see it being worn as a office/day look in Autumn and then adding on the blingy shimmery shades for an after work office party.

  3. That's cool that there's different textures but I think I would still want more variation in a palette. Your blog is supperr cute!!

Would appreciate if you checked out my blog

  4. Hi Linh!
I'm so glad I found your blog!
Thanks for the review! This quad looks amazing.
