{Review} MAC Face & Body Foundation

Hello beauties! This review has been long waited. I apologize for the delay, but better late than never?
A fluid foundation that provides low-to-medium buildable coverage and a flawless, natural satin-shine finish. Skin conditioning, water-resistant and long-wearing.

- very natural looking
- buildable
- light on skin
- plastic bottle makes it handy for travel

- gets very shiny & greasy looking (fellow oilies, beware!)
- transfers

Face & Body reminds me of a tinted moisturizer, but with a different consistency. It has a watery consistency and provides a light and buildable coverage. However, I've found that it only evens out the skin tone and nothing else.

Overall, I like this product because I prefer a lighter coverage when it comes to foundations. However, I can't see how this foundation would work for me in the summertime seeing that my face looks like an oily mess by the end of the day whenever I have this on. I will admit that I always fail to touchup my makeup throughout the day though, so maybe it wouldn't be so bad if I did so.

Have you guys tried the Face & Body foundation from MAC? How do you like it?

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. I haven't tried it, but I've thought about trying either this one or the MUFE one. I have dry skin so watery-based products always intrigue me and pull me in. I'm horrible at touching up my makeup too! I'm not the girl that you will see with her compact in the bathroom at all. Probably why I prefer fixing sprays and waterproof products when applicable. ;)

    1. I've tried the MUFE one a couple of years ago and I think I prefer it over MAC... if you can get pass the scent!

I own a fixing spray (UD All Nighter), but I always forget to use it! lol.

  2. Great review! I wish Mac foundations didn't break me out because they always look great.

Thanks for stopping by my blog :)

  3. ive been thinking about the MAC face and body b/c a lot of people agree that it photographs really well. but i'm not sure it can handle my oily skin. i'd rather go with their mix master (or whatever its called...) which gives a more matte finish.
    A Beautiful Zen
